My Reach
Over Time
My passion for communications dates back to 2001, when I discovered a local radio station in my hometown of Ocean City, NJ., and volunteered there for four years as a broadcaster. This journey led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in communications, followed by a master’s degree in journalism. From there, my career in public relations, administration, and digital media stretched to span 10+ years. I have found that my love for the field, and the people I have had the pleasure of working with, only grows over time.
Over Platforms
In 2008, the final research paper for my journalism degree took a deep dive into the changing landscape of citizen journalism. Back then, technology used for the branding and distribution of messaging for companies looked … different. Old technology did not create a strong space for interactive, integrated communications between a company and its audience. As a trained communications specialist, my experience over the years has adapted to new media’s depth and fast-paced change.

Faith Community Church,
Garner, NC:
Website Launch, 2024
Rebranded, redesigned and launched the church’s website. This project included moving the domain from Wordpress to Squarespace, directing photography for the current imagery and working with the staff for updated verbiage across the site.
Regent University,

Alumni Magazine, 2008
Contributing writer and photographer for the university’s alumni magazine, Christian Leader. This annual magazine served Regent’s community and spotlighted alumni impact, university news, events and program highlights.

I was hired by Merit Marketing as a publicist to promote a variety of cutting tool companies in Metro Detroit. For the Cole Carbide video in the link below, I interviewed the company’s owners and worked with Merit’s production team to write the voice-over script.
